This Cookie Policy informs you about which cookies and similar storage technologies (such as localStorage) are used on the website https://www.asdf-club.com ("asdf club" or "Platform"), for what purpose, and on what legal basis.
It supplements our Privacy Policy. The identity of the controller for the processing of your personal data and your rights as a data subject are set out in the Privacy Policy.
2. What are cookies and similar storage technologies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. They allow information to be retained across page loads or sessions – for example, whether you are signed in, or which country you have selected as your shopping region.
LocalStorage and sessionStorage are similar technologies that store data directly within your browser's memory. They function like cookies but are not automatically transmitted to the server on every page request. Under § 25 of the German Telecommunications and Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG), they are subject to the same legal requirements as cookies.
3. What categories do we use?
We currently use only strictly necessary (essential) cookies and storage technologies.
No consent is required for these under § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, because the storage is strictly necessary to provide you with the service you have expressly requested (sign-in, shopping cart, choice of shopping country, etc.).
We do not currently use any cookies or storage technologies for analytics, tracking, advertising or profiling. Should we introduce such technologies in the future, we will obtain your prior explicit consent and update this Cookie Policy accordingly.

Note regarding Stripe: During checkout, you are redirected to a page provided by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited). Stripe sets its own cookies on that page in order to process the payment and prevent fraud. These cookies are administered by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe privacy policy. We have no technical control over them.
Note regarding Google sign-in: If you sign in using "Continue with Google", you are redirected to a page provided by Google. Google sets its own cookies on that page. These cookies are subject to the Google privacy policy. We have no technical control over them.
5. Legal basis
The storage of the cookies and data listed above takes place on the basis of:
- § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG – storage is strictly necessary in order for us to provide the telemedia service expressly requested by the user.
- Insofar as personal data are processed, additionally Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functioning service).
For cookies that are not strictly necessary, we would obtain your consent under § 25 (1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. We do not currently use any such cookies.
6. Managing and deleting cookies
You can configure your browser to control the setting of cookies at any time, and you can delete cookies and localStorage entries that have already been stored. Please note that if you delete essential storage entries, core functions of the platform – in particular sign-in, the shopping cart and the country selection – will no longer work properly.

7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We reserve the right to amend this Cookie Policy as required by changes in the technology used or in statutory provisions. The current version is published on this page and is dated as shown above.
If we introduce cookies or similar technologies in the future that require consent (for example for analytics, tracking or advertising), we will implement an appropriate consent solution beforehand.
